We are pleased to invite you to follow the free online training courses "MimioClassroom" offered by Ligra to enable all teachers, regardless of their level of experience in the field, to make conscious and in-depth use of the new tools that technology makes available to them. We are not just talking about the interactive whiteboard and authoring software MimioStudiobut also portable devices such as smartphones and tablets that, thanks to the free app MimioMobilecan be transformed from instruments of potential distraction into powerful vehicles of involvement and communication. All this, of course, without losing sight of the fundamental reference points of our work as teachers:
  • mastering technology as tool aimed at achievinglearning objectives clear and realistic;
  • facilitate the inclusion processes;
  • inscribe the different individual learning paths within ashared path and easily replicable

Next dates

Friday 10 June, 16:30 - 18:00 o Tuesday 21 June, 16:30 - 18:00 o'clock - We-Lab portable modular workshopBy Alessandro Candiani (CEO and Co-founder) and Alessandro Tonelli (Scientific Director and Co-founder) of DNAPhone

The We-LAB is the new portable and modular analysis laboratory, which allows you to create projects and learn scientific disciplines in a simple and interactive way, through the use of smart and mobile technologies.
We-LAB is divided into hardware and software; in particular, the kit is composed of the main Raspberry Pi-based platform, the heart of the system, which manages the two functional modules, the microscope and photometer; it is driven via wi-fi by the smartphone and/or tablet and can be powered from the mains or with a simple portable power bank. There are two functional modules in the We-LAB kit: the microscope module allows you to capture images or videos of the desired sample directly on your smartphone and/or tablet, while the photometer is the optical instrument with LED technology capable of performing biochemical analyses on liquid matrices.
With We-LAB, in addition to the frontal theoretical lesson, students have the opportunity to practise what they have studied right from the start. This allows better learning of the subject, developing curiosity and creativity in a dynamic way. We-LAB enables students to develop the manual dexterity required in any type of laboratory and in all applied science courses. It enhances in the student the independence needed to logically solve a scientific question. We-LAB fosters and encourages students to work in groups and cooperate in solving a given scientific experience.
