Analog Way recently announced a major upgrade to four products in the Midra. The QuickMatriX - H, Pulse2 - H, SmartMatriX2 - H and Saphyr systems will see further improved connectivity with the introduction of the HDBaseT support.
The bracket was designed according to the official specifications of the HDBT Alliance for ensure maximum interoperability with other HDBT-certified products.
The units' HDBT inputs support video, embedded audio and Ethernet pass through; the first two HDBT inputs on each model support PoE+ power. Outputs support video, embedded audio, Ethernet pass through, RS-232 and IR control. HDMI and HDBT ports are active and mirrored on all four models.
Here are the details of the models:
- QuickMatriX - H (QMX150-H) is an 8×2 matrix scaler with 8 inputs - 12 plugs: 2x 3G-SDI, 2x HD15, 2x DVI, 4x HDMI, 2x HDBT with PoE+.
- Pulse2 - H (PLS350-H) is a high-resolution multi-layer mixer and presentation switcher. It includes 8 inputs - 12 plugs: 2x 3G-SDI, 2x HD15, 2x DVI, 4x HDMI, 2x HDBT with PoE+.
- SmartMatriX2 - H (SMX250-H) is a high-resolution 10×2 matrix scaler. Includes 10 inputs - 16 plugs: 4x 3G-SDI, 2x HD15, 2x DVI, 4x HDMI, 4x HDBT (2x with PoE+).
- Saphyr - H (SPX450-H) is a high-resolution multi-layer mixer and switcher. Includes 10 inputs - 16 plugs: 4x 3G-SDI, 2x HD15, 2x DVI, 4x HDMI, 4x HDBT (2x with PoE+).
These four models can receive and send signals up to 100 metres on a shielded CAT 5e/6 cable. The RK350 and AMX/Creston drivers have been updated to support the technical improvements.
