Since 15 March 2018, the immersive show 'Last Judgement, Michelangelo and the secret of the Sistine Chapel' for which Panasonic is the technical-video sponsor, has been staged at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome.
For this show, in fact, Panasonic has deployed no less than thirty high-brightness laser projectors, drawing from the best of the product range designed for the live show and entertainment sector.
For this exceptional installation, thirty high-brightness laser projectors were integrated into a unique and extraordinarily complete technical-scenic set-up, which saw the intervention and collaboration of an international creative team of video designers, light designers and dancers.
Thanks to the integration of all these elements within the show, an extraordinary theatrical performance meets state-of-the-art technology. The immersiveness of 270° projections places the spectator at the very centre of the show, providing an unforgettable multi-sensory user experience.
Eighteen projectors are used PT-RZ31K, ten PT-RZ21K and two PT-RZ12K. The first, with 31,000 lumens, combine 3-chip DLP with the Solid Shine laser technologyoffering breathtaking image quality on large screens.
The ten 20,000-lumen PT-RZ21K projectors, on the other hand, provide - like the aforementioned PT-RZ31 model - an impressive 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Also equipped with a dual 3-chip DLP laser light source, they offer built-in redundancy and ensure continuous, uninterrupted projection, ideal for large live shows.
Finally, the two PT.RZ12K, 12,000 lumens and WUXGA resolution projectors, equipped with a high frame rate of 120 Hz and integrated frame interpolation technology, are able to eliminate motion blur and increase the sharpness of films.
