Kubo Space Mission

Description:

This kit was created to offer schools the opportunity to have 3 games in 1, combining the Kubo robot with an Erickson-branded educational game: Mission Space.

With the combination of these two products, children will be able to take Kubo on a space trip and have him visit different planets and learn about them. Children will develop skills in coding, problem solving, logic, planning and cooperation.

The main aim of the game is to draw a path on the game board using a set of tiles (which can be either the one included within Space Mission or Kubo's programming tiles) following the directions of the mission cards, which contain problem situations, to reach a certain planet.

The kit makes it possible to take children through different degrees of difficulty and different school grades by exploiting: unplugged coding using only the Space Mission game (which has exercises of increasing difficulty within it), coding through the Kubo robot (which does not require a computer or tablet) and the combination of the two. All this without losing sight of the creative and manual activity by being able to make costumes for the robot, stories accompanying the different missions and different space maps.
