Description:
The 9 in 1 Science Kit is a do-it-yourself educational robot kit that can simultaneously build at least 9 classic STEAM application cases. Each is cleverly designed, simple and compact, and is closely integrated with the school's internal science and physics lessons to stimulate students' interest in science.
With this kit it is possible to realise, among other things:
- Crank and rocker mechanism: The crank is the main drive and moves at the same speed, while the rocker is the secondary drive and moves back and forth at variable speed, while the connecting rod performs a compound movement in a plane.
- Double rocker arm mechanism: Both rockers can be used as main drive elements. When the main rocker arm swings back and forth, the driven rocker arm swings back and forth across the connecting rod.
- Crank-slider mechanism: The crank-slider mechanism is a planar linkage mechanism capable of transferring movement between rotation and sliding.
- Mesh belt drive mechanism: By keeping the belt drive synchronised, exploiting the difference in gear ratio, it is possible to reduce speed and increase torque.
- Oscillating and reciprocating mechanism: Through the combination of the sliding crank mechanism and the gear drive mechanism, rotary motion is converted into reciprocating oscillating motion.
- Generator: The gearing mechanism drives the rotation of the motor and cuts the magnetic induction wire in the opposite direction, thereby generating electricity and switching on the LED, carrying out the process of converting energy from electrical energy to mechanical energy and then to electrical energy.
- Ultrasonic guitar: Using the distance measuring function of the ultrasonic sensor, the preset sound will be played according to the distance detected by the cursor, the colour of the RGB LED will change accompanying the ultrasound.
- Ultrasonic Radar: The ultrasonic radar uses one motor to rotate the ultrasonic sensor 360 degrees horizontally; if a measured object falls within its detection range, the buzzer will sound and the ultrasonic sensor will be moved up and down by the second motor.
- Music robot: Using the line-tracking sensor as a limit switch, the gear returns the rack to its initial position; it then rotates in the opposite direction to drive the rack and start playing music; when the music playback is finished, the rack returns to its initial position and repeats the above movement.
