We explore our senses

Description:

The sense organs are the instruments through which our organism can receive and process stimuli from the external environment.
With the material provided in this collection, the teacher can enrich his or her lessons by exhibiting models of the sense organs and performing meaningful experiments on the physical and chemical nature of stimuli.
The pupils, divided into six working groups, can also perform simple experiments by means of which:
- acquire the knowledge that every sensation contributes to the perception of the outside world;
- they learn to distinguish information coming from the individual senses;
- they learn the potential and limits of their sense organs and the hygienic rules for their correct use;
- understand the importance in perception of the connection between the sense organs and the brain.
