Description:
The course aims at providing the theoretical and practical tools for teachers to use LIAR (Language Interface for AAC-Rehabilitation) a digital AAC tool in order to realise an inclusive intervention in the school context. During the training, it will be possible to transfer skills on the use of a digital tool that also uses IoT (Internet of Things) technology to facilitate interaction with the environment, making the school smart. Teachers will learn how to use a high-tech AAC system and how to make it interact with IoT hardware, uploading photos, videos, visual sequences, etc. The interaction of AAC technologies with IoT hardware will speed up the communication process of pupils with disabilities, leading to greater inclusion in the class group.
