A Caccia di Conchiglie (Shell Hunt) is a game based on the mechanics of remembering and matching the same shapes and colours. The realistic setting, which refers to everyday or holiday situations, facilitates the involvement and motivation of the players: the consistent thematic context helps them to understand the rules of the game in the most straightforward way possible.
The shells are defined by a unique double code of shape and colour to make them easier to recognise, and the shape and size of the components are designed to ensure optimal handling for all.
The frustration of failing to match images, a typical problem of classic memory games, is here replaced with the amusing uncertainty of what the consequence of the error will be, while still rewarding the right conduct.
How do you play?
Throw the shells on the beach, memorise them and then hide them. And now roll the dice: do you remember where the corresponding shell is? Whoever collects the most wins!
