Description:

Edison is the programmable robot designed to accompany students from 4 to 16 years of age in learning the principles of programming and logic.
Equipped with a large set of sensors (sound, light, proximity, etc.), it lends itself to a wide range of training courses. It introduces those with no programming background to the basic concepts of robotics thanks to a set of preconfigured programmes that can be selected by reading a simple barcode. It can also be programmed via 3 different platforms (EdBlocks, EdScratch, EdPy) of increasing complexity, all completely free of charge: from the visual drag-and-drop block programming (EdBlocks), suitable even for the youngest, to the always visual approach based on Scratch (EdScratch) to the versatility and complexity of EdPy, based on Python.

Furthermore, thanks to the EdCreate expansion kit and its compatibility with Lego constructions, Edison becomes the basis for an incredible variety of STEAM projects. An extensive collection of training plans, lessons, video tutorials and teacher support materials is also available free of charge.

Each robot has an integrated USB cable for charging the integrated battery and programming the robot.
