Description:
In addition to visualising spatial figures and surfaces, the euler3D spatial geometry construction programme enables geometric constructions with a high level of mathematical control. (auto intersection filter, examination of plane intersections, division of concave polygons into triangles). Geometric figures can be defined by specifying their vertices, edges and faces. In addition to using the numerical values of the co-ordinates, it is also possible to use constants, previously imported into the project, which can be indicated with the determined letters. To facilitate the observation of a geometric figure, several layers can be added to its vertices, edges and faces. Layers can be activated or deactivated as required. To visualise solids, the programme uses perspective and axonometric (orthogonal) projection. Two light sources are available to ensure a more realistic visualisation. The programme allows rotational solids such as the cone or sphere to be constructed. Animations allow more complex spatial relationships to be demonstrated in a more comprehensible way (e.g. the deduction of the formula for calculating the volume of a tetrahedron). Stand-alone software, perpetual licence, for devices with Windows operating system.
