SymWriter is an innovative and powerful programme that allows you to write text by immediately matching symbols to words and create environments for a variety of teaching exercises.
Use it to create symbolised texts, to encourage the child to write and to use their literacy skills with the support of symbolisation.
Symwriter contains tools to support independent writing, such as scanning grids (for children with severe motor disabilities, create interactive environments and activate scanning to select task items), and interactive environments (create interactive grid environments, for exercises and learning checks. You can create them from scratch or draw from a library of ready-made, editable environments); autonomy tools such as speech synthesis, spell-checker and customised interfaces.
SymWriter is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8 (no 8 RT), Windows 10 (no S) and later.
