Description:
A sequel to History Made Easy 1, this software continues the journey into the past in the company of a friendly character who has to tidy up the exhibits in an ancient museum. The historical events analysed start from the 1500s to the present day and, aimed at pupils aged 8 to 14, are structured in 8 chapters with normal and simplified texts, accurate and colourful images, maps, conceptual summary maps, chronology, all freely navigable and printable. The tests -- some of them customisable -- allow the student to consolidate the knowledge learnt and the teacher to check the results in the management part. Enriching the programme is the possibility to write research papers, and to accompany them with images imported from other programmes or personally drawn with the graphic tools provided. An exciting video game with historical exhibits amuses and gratifies the student who has completed the entire course. For those with the 'Silvia Voice Synthesis' (Erickson) it is possible to listen to the audio of the history texts. The software also contains a folder of materials (taken from the software) designed to be used on the interactive whiteboard (IWB).
