TeacherMappe is a programme that allows you to create interactive lessons on a PC or interactive whiteboard, starting from the contents of digital PDF books or RTF documents, to build conceptual and multimedia maps very quickly.
It is aimed at teachers of all levels, curricular and support teachers, trainers and educators who wish to adapt their teaching to the digital world through a quick and easy tool that adapts to the teacher's teaching styles.
It is a flexible tool that allows several uses:
- quickly prepare at home lessons and supporting materials such as summaries, maps, etc;
- lecture in the classroom with a computer, preferably, but not necessarily, with the interactive whiteboard;
- develop exercises that can later be quickly corrected and revised;
- create customised and PDP/PEI-compliant audits in a simple and extremely time-saving way.
With TeacherMappe, concept maps are transformed from simple diagrams to support visual learning and memorisation, into organisers of digital content (online resources, digital books, audio and video, etc.).
The maps then become multimedia and, if appropriately organised, can serve as complete teaching units.
The curricular teacher, through collaborative and group teaching, can create teaching units that form the basis for pupils' individual study, which can also be reused for afternoon study support activities and for activities defined in the various PDPs or IEPs.
TeacherMappe consists of two fundamental teaching tools: PDF Book and Maps. They are both simple and intuitive to use and their interconnection allows you to move from text to map easily, quickly and effectively. They allow you to take notes directly on digital media; to link useful resources (also online) to the lesson objectives directly to the relevant page of the book; and to develop targeted summaries automatically.
TeacherMappe can be used on a conventional Personal Computer, on a Windows Tablet or, optimally, directly on the interactive whiteboard.
