Description:
The Up-Link Module with AP and Switch is an add-on for Lapcabby that includes the trolley cabling, a WiFi Access Point (DLink DAP-2553) and a Network Switch (Dlink DGS-1210- 24) included.
It is an intelligent internal wiring system that guarantees a neat and tidy result:
- a WiFi Access Point (DLink DAP-2553) that allows placement in the school LAN, providing an access point
wireless for the classroom.
- a Gigabit Network switch (Dlink DGS-1210-24) that allows devices to remain connected to the LAN even when they are
on charge. Which means they can be updated remotely overnight.
Both networking units are housed in ventilated enclosures at the top of the unit. This allows quick access, but prevents tampering.
